How to create a WiFi QR code
- Open the WiFi generator and select the WiFi tab.
- Enter your details — network name (SSID), password, and security type (usually WPA/WPA2).
- Customize the colors if you like, then download a crisp PNG — or SVG/4K for print, all free.
- Print and display it where guests can scan.
Great for
- Cafés, restaurants & salons — put guest WiFi on the table or menu.
- Airbnbs & hotels — add it to the welcome card so guests connect in seconds.
- Offices & events — a clean guest-network sign with no shared spreadsheet of passwords.
- Home — frame it by the door for visitors.
Tips for a code that always scans
- Keep strong contrast (dark code on a light background).
- Print it at least 2×2 cm and leave a white margin around it.
- Double-check the password — the code is only as correct as what you type.
WiFi QR code FAQ
How does a WiFi QR code work?
It stores your network name, password and security type in a standard format. When a phone camera scans it, the phone offers to join automatically — no manual typing.
Is it safe to share my WiFi as a QR code?
It's as safe as sharing the password itself. The code is built in your browser and your password is never uploaded to QRaft. Only people who can see the code can scan it.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. iPhone (iOS 11+) and Android (10+) cameras read WiFi QR codes natively. Older phones may need a free scanner app.
Can I change the password later?
You'll need to generate a new code, because the password is encoded directly into the image.
